Falmouth is blooming

Falmouth is in full bloom everywhere!!!  The Crabapple, Kwansa Cherry, Bradford Pear, Hawthorne, our beloved Maples, and, of course, the Oak – last to leave us and last to return to us!!!  They are our mainstay!!

The birds are in full concert and right in tune with nature.  The meadow is pristine and looks so beautiful framed by our blossoming lilacs.

One of our favorite times of the day is when the sun is setting – if you catch it at the right time – our neighboring churches, St. Barnabas and the Congregational Church’s steeples are ensconced in sunlight – a beautiful farewell to the day.

We are all anxiously awaiting our summer season.   The Island Queen is getting its final preening as it prepares to greet it’s passengers for a beautiful ride from Falmouth Harbor to Martha’s Vineyard.  The Steamship Authority, which departs from Woods Hole and will transport your car, if necessary, is a great trip also.

Our Commodores of the Cape Cod Baseball League are all set and ready to give you some summer thrills.  All you cyclists are in for a treat as you venture along our beautiful “Shining Sea Bike Path” – 11 miles of some of the most beautiful areas of Falmouth.   Our friendly beaches have been groomed and just waiting to offer you warmth and pleasure.

Falmouth is just ‘around the corner’ as you head over the bridges.  The Queens Byway greets you as you enter into our Historical District, pass the beautiful and quintessential Village Green and right into town.  We are very proud of our friendly little shops and award winning restaurants.  Come on down to The Inn At Siders Lane- our doors are open and look forward to offering you the “Finest of Falmouth”!
